Delmarva Engineering was created in 1977 by Mr. George Fike and has been in continuous operation since then. Our territory consists of MD, VA, Washington, DC and the Carolinas.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Our offices are in Crownsville MD, conveniently situated near Washington DC, Baltimore, major customers and BWI airport. The office provides multiple phone lines, T1 internet access, meeting rooms, and storage.
We have adopted ACT! as our primary contact management system. This allows us to easily implement “push opt-in” email marketing campaigns and mass mailings. Additionally we use MS Access for sales order entry and forecasting. Immediate forecasts are available by time frame, salesman, customer, product, etc.
Our front desk is staffed 8:30am to 5:00pm five days a week. We use voice mail only after normal business hours.
PERSONNEL
Bill Parker is president of Delmarva and handles many key accounts. He began his career in the rep business in 1984. Email: Bill@delmarva-eng.com.
Sharon Doolin was employed by another rep firm in the Annapolis area before beginning at Delmarva in 1996. She currently manages key accounts such as Northrop Grumman, AAI, and Alion. Email: Sharon@delmarva-eng.com.
Steve Neubauer worked as V-P Sales with Apcom for 11 years prior to their acquisition by L-3 Communications. He holds high level security clearances and has extensive knowledge of the Intel community. Email: Steve@delmarva-eng.com.
Craig Wilson worked as Director of business development for Iridium LLC prior to joining Delmarva. He now covers many key accounts in Virginia and DC including NRL and USMC Quantico. Email: Craig@delmarva-eng.com.
